The parents association would like to offer a warm welcome to the new junior infants starting on Monday and to their parents too, especially those new to the school.
All junior infants start at 10am on September 1st and assemble in the back playground. Teachers will be there to show parents and children where to go. School finishes at 12pm daily for junior infants for the first two weeks and from Monday 15th , 1.30pm.
The parents association host a Junior Infants Coffee Morning every September. This provides an opportunity for parents to meet up and chat over a cup of coffee and exchange contact details with other junior infant parents/guardians. The coffee morning will take place on Wednesday September 10th from 10am to 11.30am in the school hall. We appreciate some parents will have work/other commitments that morning, a volunteer from each class, usually takes on the task of sharing the parent contact information to those who cannot make it on the day.
The very best of luck to all the junior infants and their parents too. Whether its your first child starting or your fifth, its a big deal, the first day of school, warm wishes to all.
